Rig 10 is an Atlas Copco ROC L8 Mark 1, it is designed for both pre-splitting and large scale production work. This rig is the total solution for drilling in quarries and open pit mines. It has ample power to deliver high penetration rates and a rod handling capacity for hole depths of 54 meters in the carousel with the ability to load additional rods direct from the support truck to achieve deeper exploration work.

Safety features include fully automated rod handling and dual automated rod breakouts, full rotational cyclone, dust suppression / fire suppression and a complete electrical shutdown system. 

A complete cyclone sampling system has been fitted to this unit to accommodate all Reverse Circulation requirements our clients may need including Grade Control, Resource Drilling and Exploration etc.

This unit has the complete versatility and ability to work in tight and small operations including close proximity to high walls (2 meters), full mast orientation for pre splits and even horizontal holes for de-watering etc. This is a cab operated machine with optimum visibility and airconditioning for operator comfort to reduce the risk of heat stress in extreme environments.
